PITMAN — The Gloucester County Children’s Choir, under the direction of Sylvia Richardson, is currently scheduling January voice placement auditions for its spring season. Children 10 to 17 are encouraged to call the Director at 856-589-5149. No experience necessary. All children are encouraged to participate.
The choir is funded, in part, by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Cultural & Heritage Commission at Rowan College at Gloucester County.

WINTER CONCERT SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 20!!

The Gloucester County Children’s Choir, under the direction of Sylvia Richardson, will hold its 23nd annual Winter concert on Sunday, December 20 at 4 p.m. in the Pitman Methodist Church,  758 Broadway,  Pitman, 08071. The concert will feature selections that reflect the sounds of the season along with a performance by the Jubilee Ringers. Admission is free. Refreshments are provided after the show. The choir is funded, in part, by the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of Cultural Affairs in the Department of State. The Gloucester County Children’s Choir welcomes children ages 10-16 to audition for its award-winning choral music education and performance program.   Auditions will be held each Wednesday in September in the St. James Lutheran Church, 400 Columbia Ave., Pitman, NJ  0807 1, where weekly rehearsals are held.   To schedule an audition, please call the Director at 856-589-5149.    No experience is necessary and children are encouraged to also participate in their school choirs. Choir Spring Concert May 17 – dedicated to former Parent Guild President Dee Bell

The Gloucester County Children’s Choir, under the direction of Sylvia Richardson, will hold its 22nd annual Spring concert on Sunday, May 17 at 4 p.m. in the Pitman Methodist Church, 758 North Broadway in Pitman, NJ, 08071. The concert is dedicated in thanksgiving for the life of former GCCC Parent Guild President Dee Bell, whose dedication and commitment to the choir was unrivaled.  Special guests include soprano Robin Wilson Broughton and tenor Shane Gosdis. Admission is free. The facility is accessible. Refreshments are provided after the show. The choir is funded, in part, by the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of Cultural Affairs in the Department of State.

Children’s Choir Adelphia Fundraiser March 16 — advance tickets available now!

The Gloucester County Children’s Choir is currently selling tickets to a fundraiser at the Adelphia Restaurant and Lounge located at 1750 Clements Bridge Rd, Deptford Township, NJ 08096 on March 16 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 dollars and include a Chef’s Choir buffet and house beer and wine. Tickets will be $20 at the door. There will be a basket raffle and a 50/50. No one under 21 is permitted to attend. To obtain tickets please call 856-589-5149 or 856-589-0353.

The concert will feature selections that reflect the sounds of the season along with a performance by Saxophonist Ryan Bates. Admission is free. Refreshments are provided after the show. The choir is funded, in part, by the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of Cultural Affairs in the Department of State.
