Gloucester County Children’s Choir 20th annual Holiday Concert

Concert dedicated to late co-founder Donald Cary 

PITMAN – The Gloucester County Children’s Choir will hold its 20th Annual Winter Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 16th, in Pitman United Methodist Church, Lambs Road and Broadway, in Pitman, NJ  08071 .  The concert will feature selections that reflect the “Sounds of the Seasons” including holiday sacred and traditional Christmas songs and carols and a special presentation honoring the life of choir co-founder Mr. Donald Carywho died in July.

Admission to the concert is free and refreshments will be served following afterward. Sign language interpretation will be provided.

The choir is directed by Sylvia Richardson, of Pitman, who co-founded the choir 20 years ago with the late Donald Cary, who lived in West Deptford. Lauren Canna, of Pitman, is the assistant director and Dave Anderson of Pittsgrove Township  is the accompanist.

Funding for the Gloucester County Children’s Choir is made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts from a grant to the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Gloucester County Community College.
